A joint venture of Astad Engineering Consultancy and Project Management (20%), and Hill International (80%), which provides project management services for the Doha Metro’s Green line, have won a contract extension worth QR157m ($43.1m) to continue its services for another 30 months.
Qatar Railways awarded the original contract related to the extension for four years, in 2012.

The scope of the contract was awarded by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) and primarily includes design, development and commissioning of a 2.7k-long light rail track between the new Wickham transport interchange and Pacific Park in New South Wales.
Other responsibilities of the contractor include installing six stops, construction of a stabling and maintenance facility, and associated road and precinct works.
