Teleste has announced the signing of a framework agreement to install its systems on-board Alstom trains.
The agreement is an extension of a co-operation deal signed earlier in the year between the two companies, which outlined the delivery of on-board systems for more than 100 Alstom trains.
The installation of Teleste’s on-board systems will enable Alstom to provide passengers with precise real-time travel information.
Teleste is a Finland-based technology provider, while Alstom is a French rail transport equipment and services company.
Ansaldo STS will develop a proof of concept for a new Dynamic Headway solution for use on the Copenhagen Metro M1 / M2.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the system with Metroselskabet.
