National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has opened two technical tenders for the construction of bridges for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor in India.
The bridges will be constructed in Gujarat and union territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
As many as nine companies have participated in the technical bids, reported Indo-Asian News Service.
NHSRCL spokesperson Sushma Gaur said that the technical tenders comprise contract packages of P-1(B) and P-1(C) for the construction of bridges for the MAHSR corridor.
The P-1 (C) package covers the construction of bridges for the double-line high-speed railway for four PSC bridges, and seven steel truss bridges between Zaroli village and Vadodara in Gujarat, and Dadar and Nagar Haveli.
Similarly, package P-1 (B) covers the construction of bridges for the double-line high-speed railway for one PSC Bridge, and four steel truss bridges between Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat.

By GlobalDataGaur revealed that until now five bidders have submitted their bids for P-1 (C) and four for the P-1 (B).
Among the participating companies include Ranjit Buildcon, MG Contractors, KEC-SAM India JV, GRIL-GPT JV, and URC Construction.
Last week, Gujarat allocated Rs15bn ($205m) for the development of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train.
Gujarat finance minister Nitinbhai Patel announced the allocation while presenting the annual budget of the state.
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor will cover a length of 508.17km and comprise 12 stations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
