Klimat-Fer is actively expanding its activities outside Italy and has recently been awarded projects in Europe, North Africa, Asia and South America. Klimat-Fer is also able to supply HVAC units with local production in China, Russia, Brazil, India and Turkey. For this reason we provide an after-sales service network in every country where applications are running.
The entire structure is able to reach a maximum production rate of 1,000 HVAC units per year in normal conditions and 1,500 HVAC with extra work.
Air-conditioning products for rail vehicles
Our range of systems is wide so we have groups of products that are designed specifically for the different types of rail vehicles and to suit various services. We also have different types of installation for new systems and those that need to be refurnished.
All of our solutions are developed to meet the specific needs of the double-decker, regional trains, light rail vehicles, metros, trams, high-speed trains, locomotives, people movers and very high-speed trains.

Research and development for small, light, energy-saving HVAC systems
Smaller and lighter systems, energy saving, and environmental protection are the three objectives that we dedicate much of our time and energy towards reaching with constant research for new technologies, innovative materials and avant-garde applications.
All Klimat-Fer’s products and systems are developed according to the highest standards and requirements of all the major OEMs and/or final users.
Railway certification
Klimat-Fer is ISO 9001 and 14001-certified. Klimat-Fert obtained the International Railways Industry Standard (IRIS) certification in 2009.
Air-conditioning systems for the Asian railway market
Klimat-Fer was established in December 2005 from the skills and professionalism of two well-referenced companies from the railway industry: Elettromeccanica Fer Ferrara, founded in 1924, and Klimat, founded in 1963.
In 2006 Klimat-Fer signed an important joint-venture with Hailite company from Shanghai, the leader company in the chinese air-conditioning sector to distribute its products to the Asian market.
