Hanson Springs has announced further investment in cold-coiling capacity.

CNC 63mm (2 1/2in) cold-coiling machine

The 63mm coiling machine has now been commissioned at the Halfpenny Bridge, Rochdale, UK facility.

This now expands our range of mandrel type CNC semi-automatic cold coilers to our maximum cold coil bar size of 63mm. Other machines of this type we already operate are sized as follows: 4mm, 8mm, 12mm, 14mm, 20mm and 38mm.

The new machine affords faster set-ups, combined with exceptional repeatability. In conjunction with our substantial raw material stocks, Hanson Springs are able to further reduce production lead-times.

Our maximum hot-coil bar size remains 80mm (3.15in).
