SafeSec Ltd has achieved approved supplier status for Carillion PLC, after years of consistent service. This framework agreement ensures that we can operate on Carillion sites nationally, without the need to go through the standard tendering process.
SafeSec first provided security services to Carillion in March 2013 at Kings Cross Canal Tunnels site. Previously, the site had two separate companies responsible for security and site access control, and we were approached to provide a unified service in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Since that day, we have reduced cable theft on all of our Carillion sites to zero, while achieving a flawless record of health and safety. This is down to the quality of our award winning employees.
To add further value to our Carillion sites, we have provided the company with our bespoke biometric system for site access control. This technologically advanced system also monitors time and attendance, and fatigue management in accordance with Network Rail guidelines.
The premium service we have offered and the professionalism of our staff has been evident throughout the duration of our time working with Carillion. This has helped us to build a strong working relationship with our clients and contributed to our award winning reputation, "I can attest the SafeSec team as a very serious, competent company of security professionals and not your ordinary run of the mill firm." Paul Meenan, DLR
The importance of the approved supplier status cannot be understated. Removing the need to tender will save the company resources and time that can be better spent improving our services, in turn improving the efficiency of our clients. Now that the framework agreement is in place, it ensures SafeSec have the potential for accelerated expansion nationally. This is already being evidenced with new Carillion sites coming on stream at Doncaster and Sheffield in the coming month.
