Axiomtek is pleased to announce the six Axiomtek products that were honoured with a ‘2016 Taiwan Excellence Award’. The award-winning products include intelligent transportation system tBOX810-838-FL, anti-explosive ATEX/C1D2 certified din-rail embedded controller rBOX510-6COM, high-performance quad-core PoE fanless embedded system eBOX671-885-FL, 15in IP66-rated stainless steel touch panel PC GOT815-834, 17in robust IP65 industrial touch panel PC P1177S-881, and EN60601-1 certified medical grade panel PC MPC153-834.

The Taiwan Excellence Awards is delivered by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). This is an annual event which has a well-known and quality assurance reputation that is highly honoured. The six Axiomtek products are recognised superior with five key indicators: R&D, Design, Quality, Marketing, and Made in Taiwan.

The five indicators are judged on its ‘Innovation Value’, the most important standard of all. This award is a proof to Axiomtek’s excellence in product quality, service, marketing and brand awareness, and has also has demonstrated its technical achievement in embedded system research.

The six products that were conferred the 2016 Taiwan Excellence Awards are as follows:

The tBOX810-838-FL: The intelligent transportation box PC is certified with eMark, ISO7637, EN50155, EN50121 and IEC60945 for a variety of transportation applications, such as: in-vehicle, railway or marine. Powered by the quad-core Intel® Atom™ processor E3845 or dual-core E3827, the rugged fanless embedded system supports a wide operating temperature ranging from -40°C to 70°C and 9 ~ 36V wide DC input for harsh environmental conditions.

The rBOX510-6COM (ATEX/C1D2): The din-rail fanless Intel® Atom SoC-based embedded PC features full rugged industrial designs, like: dual isolated Gigabit LANs, four isolated RS-232/422/485 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one isolated DIO (8-in/8-out) port, front-facing LED indicators, wide range 12VDC-48VDC power input with terminal block, and three full-sized Mini cards for 3G/GPRS/Wi-Fi connections. The smart embedded platform is excellent for space concerned, remote, IoT/M2M, and harsh environments such as power plant, outdoor electricity distribution system, gas station, refinery, mine control room, and any other mission-critical applications.

The eBOX671-885-FL: The Intel® CoreTM-based embedded vision system features PoE (power-over-Ethernet) support. Its four channel Gigabit PoE ports allow multiple cabling to cameras and any PoE power device. With high-end CPU and multi-I/O connectivity, this fanless embedded vision system is well suited to multi-camera imaging applications such as optical inspection, surveillance system and IoT & M2M-related applications.

The GOT815-834: The streamline 15in IP66-rated stainless steel panel computer features a multi-touch and full flat front bezel. Its secured design, fanless and noiseless advantages, and IP66-rated waterproof enclosure keep the entire panel system working efficiently and reliability in harsh environments against hazards including dust, dirt, water, oil, and chemicals. The 15" stainless panel PC, GOT815-834, is an excellent human machine interface platform for food and chemical industries, pharmaceutical industry, transportation and oil pipeline monitoring.

P1177S-881: The 17in IP65 workstation-level industrial touch panel computer supports 5th generation Intel® Core™ & Celeron® processors in an LGA1150 socket with the Intel® H81 Express chipset. It is designed for factory automation, kiosks, and many other industrial automation, IoT & M2M applications. The entire panel system has a robust, slim aluminium casing with IP65 / NEMA 4 compliant front bezel, which makes this 17in rugged panel PC suitable to operate in many extreme and space-constricting environments.

MPC153-834: The 15.6in WXGA medical panel PC has IPX1 compliant chassis and IP65/NEMA 4 rated spill and dust-resistant front panel. The EN60601-1 certified medical touch panel PC is equipped with an isolated COM port to protect equipment from electrical surges and transient voltage spike. Apparently it is an ideal choice as a point-of-patient-care EMR computer, enabling health care professionals to access patient records whenever and wherever needed.

The 24th Taiwan Excellence Awards winners were finally revealed to the public on December 21, 2015 after a three-month review and evaluation. Backed by its persistent innovation, diversified product line, and superior quality, Axiomtek entered this prestigious competition with six entries to compete against other similar vendors.

Outstripping 1,155 competing products from 448 vendors, Axiomtek is now embracing victory as its competing products were bestowed the Taiwan Excellence Award. This award is designated with the red interwoven arc symbol of Taiwan Excellence, which is the mark of product distinction and superior quality. This accomplishment is a proof to Axiomtek’s excellence in product quality, service, marketing and brand awareness. The award has also demonstrated the technical achievement in embedded system research which the company has devoted itself to for decades.
