Fanless box PC railway solutions
Winner of the 2016 Best Choice Award, the MPT-3000R is a EN50155-certified fanless box PC featuring M12-style connectors and wireless wide area network (WWAN) redundancy.
Designed with a separate wireless power module and network communication capabilities, the MPT-3000R is a multi-purpose internet of things (IoT) railway system that supports dual WAN slots, which provide redundant wireless communication.
Unlike competing products with an all-in-one construction, this innovative system is built with a separate self-protecting power module that can be swapped out to accommodate different power requirements.
The MPT-3000R offers solid state drive (SSD) storage that can run in operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, and features built-in adjustable triaxial G-sensor shockproof protection.
The solution is powered by a 1.91GHz Intel® Atom™ Processor E3845 processor. Enclosed in a black aluminium chassis are two DDR3L-1333 SO-DIMM dual-channel sockets, which are bundled with a total system memory of 4GB. The rear panel offers digital visual interface (DVI-D) connectors, video graphics array (VGA), three serial connections, two M12 GbE, two M12 USB 2.0 slots, and a wide-range voltage general-purpose input / output (GPIO) interface.
Touch panel railway systems
IBASE’s 12.1in BYTEM-123-PC and 10.4in BYTEM-103-PC fanless panel PCs provide high computing performance, low power consumption, and silent operation. The BYTEM-123 runs at operating temperatures between -20°C to 55°C, while the BYTEM-103 operates between -40°C to 75°C.
Meeting EN5015 and IP54 standards, the units support input voltages ranging from 24V to 110V, and have washable, dust-resistant front panels with IP65-compliant protection.
The BYTEM-123-PC and BYTEM-103-PC include two-finger multi-touch screens, which enable greater user control. Onboard I/O and expansion capabilities support M12 connectors for power input, as well as 10 / 100M ethernet communication, two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, and gigabit ethernet controllers for system and software installation or maintenance.
The systems also support Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) mounting, and can be provided with an optional rack mounting kit, allowing them to be attached to a range of installations.
Bar-type fanless panel PC for trains
The ARD-028-N is an all-in-one fanless panel PC featuring a 28in bar-type display and powered by an 1.33GHz Intel® Atom™ E3825 dual-core processor.
With its ultra-wide TFT active matrix LCD screen, the ARD-028-N is also a digital signage display and media player that delivers advertising, schedules and location information on trains. The solution’s EN50155/T1 compliance ensures it meets international standards covering shock and vibration requirements on electronic equipment for railway applications.
Integrated with Intel (Gen7-LP) 4EU Graphics, the ARD-028-N provides enhanced graphical performance (1920px x 360px) and power efficiency. The rugged, fanless system houses an IBASE IB898 motherboard featuring I/O and expansion interfaces, including a GbE M12 connector, two USB 2.0, an RS-232/422/485 port, three Mini PCI-E slots and a three-pin terminal block for DC inputs.
Measuring 733mm x 65mm x 57mm, the ARD-028 system is provided with a 64GB mSATA drive and a 2GB DDR3L SO-DIMM memory, as well as an optional 60W power adaptor. The company provides two models, the ARD-028-N and the ARD-028-NR, which offer two M12 (LAN in/out) and one RJ45 LAN connector, respectively.
