Mikro Elektronik Numeberg(MEN) announced Dominion Electronics as the distributor of the year for 2009. A great accolade for Dominion Electronics and is a result of the multi-million dollar contracts that Dominion Electronics have been engaged in across various industry sectors, including rolling stock and defence projects. Project scope has ranged from onboard vehicle location servers as well as telemetry and outbound communication gateways, both for rail.
And recently, a CCTV surveillance monitoring project, again for rail. This project included a combination of a digital video recorder and a video display server and is part of a larger communication and surveillance system. A total of four digital video recorder units and two video display servers were used per train set, each housed in their own individual 4U 19″ cPCI rack.
James McLEoad, CEO of Dominion Electronics said, “The scope of many of our projects are large in scale and complex in detail. MEN have been able to provide robust solutions for many of our clients. Coupled with our expertise in engineering services, we have secured some exciting and innovative projects and we look forward to further forging our relationship with MEN.”
