Srikar Reddy, managing director and CEO of Sonata Software, features in the list of India’s most valuable CEOs compiled by Business World (issue dated 18th April 2016). Business World follows a well-structured process to select the most valuable CEOs in the country and Srikar features in the list of CEOs of medium-sized companies having revenues of Rs.250 crores to Rs.2499 crores.

The CEOs were selected based on the performance of their companies over a three-year period and the methodology to evaluate performance focused on a combination of financial and environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.

Sonata has considerably improved its strategy in the last three years to focus more on the niche industry verticals of travel, retail and distribution and ISV, as well as in the digital technologies like mobility, omni-channel commerce, cloud and analytics. Sonata has gone ahead with building IP-led solutions and deeper customer focus during the above mentioned time period.

The last three financial years’ revenues and EBIDTA have grown with a CAGR of 16% and 56% respectively since Srikar Reddy took over as the CEO.
