Based on the well-established and globally used modules of the series PMAS/PCMAS100 from MTM Power, the specialist for individual power supplies, the series PMmed/PCMmed100 for medical engineering applications is now also available. The primary switched modules with AC/DC wide input range have CB-Scheme and are VDE and UL-approved according to EN 60 950, EN 60 601, UL 60 950 and UL 60 601.

High packing density and small dimensions allow an efficient, cost-saving solution for different tasks where medium-ranged power is needed. The devices are prepared for applications in Class 1 and/or 2 and comply with the latest standards as regards CE conformity.

The series PMmed/PCMmed with output power of 100W is available with single-output voltages of 24VDC, 36VDC and 48VDC. The series is short-circuit protected, needs no ground load, is designed for PCB mounting or chassis mounting and has reduced stand-by power. The vacuum-encapsulated modules have a high efficiency of ≥90% and are characterised by compact design due to their mechanical and electrical rugged construction.

The very high quality of the whole series is based on SMD-technology, 100%-burn-in-test and automatic 100% final test. Besides this 100W version, the PMmed/PCMmed series includes modules with 24W, 48W, 60W and 75W output power.
