UK electronic information display specialist Infotec has taken its products further than ever before; to Australia.
The company’s display technology has been exhibited at AusRAIL 2013, which brings together rail manufacturers and operators from across the Australasian region as well as from every other continent. It has been staged this year at the Sydney Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The Infotec display was given pride of place on the Australian Rail Technology Ltd (ART) stand at the show, which has run for the last three days. ART is Infotec’s partner in Australia.
ART general manager Gary Lougher, one of Australia’s leading rail industry systems integrators, said: "It was great to see the display on the stand, it stands out from the crowd because there is nothing else like it at the show."
Infotec founder and business consultant Jeff Court, joined Gary on the ART stand throughout the exhibition. He said: "The Infotec display has had very positive reactions from visitors to the ART stand. From the response it is clear that there are considerable opportunities for Infotec in this part of the world.
"I am further encouraged by the fact that railways in Australia are undergoing something of a renaissance, with Federal and State Governments reconfiguring them to make them more passenger-focused and entrepreneurial."
Award-winning Infotec’s products and technology are used to provide display solutions at overground, underground and on metro systems – at the last count more than 8,000 displays at over 1,000 UK stations and in an increasing number of locations overseas including Mexico and the USA.
