The BL70W box PC was developed for wireless applications in mobile markets.

Due to its compliance with the E-mark requirements, it is well suited for automotive applications in buses, construction vehicles or agriculture machines.

Reliable communication in a robust housing

Despite its compact design it offers sufficient space for nine antenna slots in total as well as a multitude of application-specific I/O. Equipped with four PCI Express Mini Card slots controlling up to eight SIM cards and a GPS / GLONASS interface, the BL70W leaves nothing to be desired in terms of wireless communication.

Two Gigabit Ethernet via robust M12 connectors, five slots for serial I/O or CAN bus and two USB 2.0 make the BL70W complete.
The BL70W is designed for fanless operation in the extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C. Thanks to firmly soldered components and conformal coating it resists the typical influences of automotive applications like shock and vibration, or humidity. Its robust characteristics conform to the requirements of ISO 7637-2 (E-mark).

Hence it can be perfectly used as content or hotspot server, as diagnosis interface or as fleet management control as well as for passenger information systems and all vehicle-to-land communication.

The robust and conduction cooled box PC has been equipped with a powerful Intel Core i7-3517UE CPU running at 1.7GHz. Be it one, two or four cores, due to the scalability within the Intel i7 family the customers can size the computing power to their individual requirements.

Thanks to the flexible box PC system the BL70W can easily be expanded with PCI Express Mini Cards or different I/O at any time, saving a lot of time and cost for the customer.
