Infotec is introducing its LED, LCD and TFT display product range to Poland and eastern Europe, showcasing its all-new innovative common electronics platform in full matrix LED, TFT and on-vehicle displays at rail industry fair TRAKO in Gdansk.
The award-winning company will also be exhibiting concourse and platform LED and TFT displays on the stand of its eastern European strategic partner, Warsaw-based Trans-IT.
Infotec managing director Tim Court and Rail Sales Manager Nigel Hewson are attending the event, the largest and most prestigious rail industry meeting in Poland and one of the largest in central and eastern Europe.
They will be talking to visitors about Infotec’s new on-vehicle displays which offer a fully scalable, modular design that allows customers’ individual needs to be met quickly and efficiently. Offering both LED and TFT options, the units are tested to EN50155:2007 and are ingress protection rated up to IP52.
Another Infotec development that delegates will have an opportunity to discuss is the new FM Series full matrix LED displays; the latest addition to the company’s popular LED product range. The advantage of this approach is to provide customers with a more streamlined display range capable of presenting both line-based and graphical content on the same product in both colour and monochrome options.
Infotec is attending the high-profile event in Gdansk as part of the UK Pavilion, a section dedicated to UK-based companies looking to do business in the region. The fair will be open from September 22 to 25.
Commenting on the Polish trip, Tim said: "We have developed products and services that put us in a better position than ever before to meet the needs of overseas customers.
"We are looking forward to being a part of the UK Pavilion and explaining how we work to provide solutions to meet passenger information system needs wherever in the world clients are based."
Infotec has won a number of overseas contracts recently including one awarded by Hitachi for a comprehensive package of sophisticated passenger information display and related products and services for the Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) Line 1 Urban Railway, on-vehicle displays for the JFK Airtrain in New York, on-vehicle displays for trams in Vancouve, and products from the M Series of TFT displays for use on the underground railway in Caracas, Venezuela.
