Surface materials for waiting areas and materials for public transport interiors have to be extremely hard-wearing. In addition, they have to satisfy the strict design and safety requirements.
Benecke-Kaliko, part of the ContiTech Group, is presenting surface materials from its Dynactiv Surfaces portfolio for the first time at InnoTrans in the form of its Dynactiv Mobility products, which are optimally tailored to the needs of the rail industry.
One of the highlights for train systems is the Dynactiv 630 Eco floor covering. This surface material is extremely hard-wearing, slip-resistant, tough and low in emissions; the perfect solution for particularly high-traffic areas. It was specially developed for applications requiring high abrasion resistance.
Dynactiv 630 Eco features great toughness combined with minimal weight, which clearly raises it above other products on the market. A weight saving of 700g/m² is achieved over standard materials. The material is also halogen-free. In terms of design, too, the material offers a wide range of options, thanks to an extensive choice of available grains.
Benecke-Kaliko also offers outstanding solutions for seats in trains or in station waiting areas. Dynactiv 730 is a true alternative to genuine leather, with properties that significantly and impressively enhance the interior. The polyurethane upholstery material is halogen-free, highly tear-resistant, and very easy to work with and can be reproduced in the same quality without restriction. An important factor for high-profile surfaces in trains and station areas is that Dynactiv 730 can be produced in custom designs.
Benecke-Kaliko’s extensive know-how has made the company one of the leading suppliers of surfaces that deliver convincing performance especially in environments where they are subjected to a high level of wear. Dynactiv is a product and service portfolio from Benecke-Kaliko, synonymous with dynamically active products, innovative surface materials, and outstanding solutions for a very wide range of industrial fields.
Benecke-Kaliko creates products with properties which are unrivalled in terms of abrasion resistance, light fastness, grip, tactile qualities, looks, scratch resistance, optimised weight, and environment friendliness using its global development and design expertise at production sites around the world. The Dynactiv Surfaces portfolio covers eight different product groups, based on industrial fields: Hospitality, Health, Home, Fashion, Mobility, Protection, Power, and Blend.
