ENSCO is pleased to announce that on 10 November 2012 the company formed a wholly owned subsidiary, ENSCO Rail Australia Pty Ltd, registered in Australia and located in Baulkham Hills, just outside of Sydney.

The creation of the Australian company is to support ENSCO’s supply of comprehensive solutions for railway asset condition assessment and maintenance planning technologies to the Australian marketplace as part of the company’s strategic growth and expansion plans.

ENSCO Rail Australia Pty Ltd was formed to better serve and engage railway customers throughout Australia in response to demand for state-of-the-art automated track inspection and data management products, including track measurement and machine vision inspection technologies.

Like North America, the Australian market is primarily freight-dominated with shared corridor passenger service and local metros. Expanding in Australia will enhance ENSCO’s ability to bring breakthrough products and services to the Australian marketplace in similar railway operating environments to those the company serves in North America.
