Innovative Parts and Solutions (IPS), a global supplier of tools and maintenance of way (MOW) parts and equipment to the railway industry, announced plans today to maintain an inventory of Tamper MK III and MK IV electronic components, effective immediately.
IPS president, Kim Molby offered the following comment:"It’s not only the wear parts that can break down, but a faulty or damaged computer can shut down your whole operation. IPS is determined to answer these needs with a wide range of electronic components for Mark III and Mark IV Tampers, available quickly and competitively"
The company expects to offer CPU boards, ‘Jupiter’ cables and provide a repair / exchange programme for many of the various electronic components deemed ‘obsolete’ by the OEM. A full listing of the available items can be viewed at the IPS website.
IPS began operations in 1975, and over 40 years has grown to become a world-class manufacturer and supplier of railway tools, parts and equipment.
