ID&E’s ‘Innovation Revolution Showcase 2024 Malaysia’ was a first-time event hosted by Nippon Koei Mobility (a subsidiary of ID&E Holdings), systems consultants for the railway and public transport sectors. It was held on 3rd July in Kuala Lumpur where the latest innovations, products, and solutions were unveiled.

Technical fields in the showcase encompassed Hydropower, Railway, Battery Energy Storage, Satellite Information, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Slope Management, Social Welfare, Digital Transformation (DX), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Building Information Modelling (BIM), Civil Information Modelling (CIM), Architecture, and Transit Oriented Development (TOD), as well as the Healthcare Sector, Education Sector, and Smart Cities. A premier gathering of business leaders, professionals, influencers, and innovators graced the event.

The event featured a diverse agenda, including keynote presentations from renowned speakers, panel discussions, and an exhibition hall showcasing industry advancements. The Chief Guest was Minister Mr. Karimata, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia. Our list of esteemed in-house personalities included Mr. Kurosaki, Mr. Nishino, and Mr. Aniket, all of whom shared their expertise on key topics shaping the future of business opportunities in Malaysia and around the world.

Dedicated networking sessions were created where attendees were able to connect with industry peers, forge valuable friendships, and gain insights during these sessions. The global headquarters of Nippon Koei Mobility is based in Shah Alam, Malaysia, and recently in a phase of rapid expansion, has launched two branch offices in Jakarta and Kuching, respectively. Nippon Koei Mobility has been actively participating in railway development in Malaysia with the Mutiara Line Light Rail Transit (MTL), Light Rail Transit Bandar Utama to Johan Setia (LRT 3), Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS), and Rapid Transit System Link Johor Baharu-Singapore (RTS Link). Since its acquisition by Nippon Koei, Nippon Koei Mobility has also been supporting the group for various Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) projects funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), such as Dhaka Metro Line 6, Ho Chi Minh Metro Line 1, Cairo Metro Line 4, Chennai Metro, and Manila North South Commuter Rail Extension.
