What makes the ASC RAIL series special?
Our customised accelerometres are designed to work reliably in even the most challenging environmental conditions. We’ve put them through rigorous testing to ensure compliance with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards according to EN 50121.
Furthermore, environmental stress tests have been applied to confirm the robustness in temperature cycling, increased vibrations and shock tests for axle mounted devices (category 3), similar to EN 50155.
Other features include:
- Integrated cable excellence: we use a railway certified cable that exceeds technical requirements (EN 50306). It also delivers superior fire protection on railway vehicles in accordance with DIN EN 45545-2.
- Superior PG cable gland: the cable gland comes from a specialised supplier, has undergone meticulous testing, and meets all fire protection standards (DIN EN 45545-2 and 45545-3).
- Robust housing: our sensors come with hermetically sealed, robust stainless steel housing, ensuring they are rated at protection class IP68.
- Cutting-edge electronics: equipped with LN (Low Noise) accelerometers which succeeded in nearly three million km of Continuous Track Monitoring by DB Systemtechnik GmbH.
