CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd. was invited by the Turkmenistan Railway Administration and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Turkmenistan to participate in the conference and exhibition.
At the opening ceremony on 3 May, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference. The exhibition started at 10:30 on the same day, and the atmosphere was warm.
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng stopped in front of the booth of CRRC Ziyang. He fully affirmed the locomotive export business of the company in Turkmenistan, and hoped that the company would continue to maintain friendly cooperation with Turkmenistan Railways and local enterprises in Turkmenistan, and further strengthen cooperation in the field of railway transportation.
During the exhibition, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of CRRC Ziyang Li Xining, was interviewed by local media such as Salam News and Atavatan Türkmenistan and provided an overview of CRRC Ziyang, its main business, and the experience of cooperation with Turkmenistan.
In addition, in front of the booth of CRRC Ziyang, the locomotives exported to Turkmenistan and the hanging monorail trains independently developed by the company attracted many new and old friends.
On the afternoon of 4 May, at the end of the conference and exhibition, Deputy Director of Turkmenistan Railways Administration and Interim Acting General Manager of Turkmenistan Railways Open Joint Stock Company Akmurad Khojabayev presented a certificate of honour to the company for its successful participation in the International Traffic and Transit Corridors: Connectivity and Development-2023.
It is reported that attending the conference and the business meetings during the exhibition will improve the understanding and awareness of potential partners regarding CRRC and CRRC Ziyang, and help to identify areas for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
