Lamifil NV has announced that Johan Ameel has been appointed as the company’s new CEO.
In his role as of January 2018, Johan Ameel will oversee the overall strategic and operational management of the company and will execute on the growth strategy. He succeeds John Dejaeger, who continues to advise the board of directors and new CEO.

Together with a strong management team, Johan Ameel is the right man to write the next chapter to the Lamifil success story.”
Building on its growth, Lamifil will focus increasingly on innovation to strengthen its position as a forerunner in the industry and to continue to meet and anticipate customer needs and challenges. This involves significant new investments in production processes and infrastructure.
Additionally, the development of new products and alloys will be accelerated for the three main business units: overhead conductors, catenary wires and specialty wires.

Johan Ameel has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership roles serving international industrial companies, including Packo Inox and Corus Aluminium. He holds Master degrees in Industrial Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Business Administration.
