In terms of maintenance on rail vehicles, thanks to our extensive experience and professionalism, the company has met the strict criteria for obtaining the ECM maintenance certificate for function four. At the same time, we were also able to obtain the EN 15085-6 certificate and the ISO 3834-2 recertification.
The term ECM stands for Entity in Charge of Maintenance. It more clearly defines and specifies the responsibilities of the various players in the railway industry with regard to safety precautions. This also applies to the vehicles used to maintain the railway infrastructure.
The implementation of the fourth railway package contains an important section that addresses and increases safety in rail transport. The European Regulation 2019/779 requires the certification of bodies responsible for the maintenance of all rail vehicles in the European Union, and also in all OTIF member states.
