International pneumatic motion and fluid control technology provider Norgren has launched a highly versatile new compact valve range for the rail sector. Suitable for both direct integration onto a manifold or for use with a CNOMO Interface and G1/8 port, the VRW 2/2, 3/2 way 32mm solenoid poppet valve delivers engineering advantage through its exceptional reliability and safety credentials.

Able to function in temperatures ranging from -40ºC to +80ºC, the range has been shock and vibration tested to EN61373 category-one, class A and B and has undergone an extensive testing programme to comply with the global rail requirements in place.

The valves are suitable for use in a variety of applications including brake systems, door control modules, windscreen wiper systems, suspension systems and wheel flange lubrication systems. Each direct actuated valve boasts a fully encapsulated coil, and a wide range of power and orifice sizes is available.
