Wilcomatic is a renowned vehicle washing service provider for the railway sector with 50 years of trading.
We are an innovative, eco-conscious company that has extended its portfolio from traditional car wash systems to include complementary products and services.
Our additional solutions comprise train wash and associated depot services, commercial washing systems, water recycling systems and wash chemical manufacturing.
Railway vehicle wash system products
Wilcomatic’s wash systems product range is designed for high-speed, light and heavy metro, trams and monorail vehicles. Depot products include fuelling systems, controlled emission toilets (CET) that are either fully automatic, semi-automatic or manual, as well as AdBlue and lubrication systems, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) upgrades.
With increasing growth of rail installation projects across the globe, Wilcomatic developed a wholly owned subsidiary within India to act as an installation, service and maintenance hub.
The company is also in discussions with a third-party to develop a dedicated rail maintenance partnership within Thailand to service and maintain the potential nine projects that are either installed or due to be installed over the next few years.
Similar partnerships are in place in Australia and Malaysia with further plans for the increasing number of installations within the Middle East.
Wash plants for railway operators
Established in 2010, the Wilcomatic Rail division has sold numerous wash plants in the UK and worldwide, working on an exclusive arrangement with innovative German automatic wash system manufacturer Otto Christ.
The company partnered Otto Christ in the distribution of high-quality, advanced wash systems and employs 65 field engineers to oversee more than 1,300 pieces of equipment, including rail washing systems throughout the UK.
Over the last decade, Wilcomatic Rail has supplied more than 50 wash systems to turnkey suppliers and national railway systems in New Zealand, Australia, the Far East, Middle East, Brazil and Canada. We have also supplied innovative web-based remote management systems used to monitor machines performance and fault diagnostics.
Engineering and support for rail wash systems
The substantial size of Wilcomatic’s in-house engineering base and sophistication of its service management systems enables the company to offer a high level of support to worldwide rail operators.
Internationally, the strategy of the Wilcomatic Rail division is to work with turnkey providers of rail systems. The company has been accredited by Bombardier and provided systems to Siemens, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Scomi through strong supply relationships.
The extensive product range extends beyond trains and trams and includes monorails, automatic people movers (APM) for airports, CETs, refuelling systems and depot-related ancillary products.
