The Aero-X® E/C HD type aerosol generators have been designed focused on easy installation and simple replacement. To connect the Aero-X® E/C HD type aerosol generators to the respective extinguishing control panels, Aero-X developed the Aero-X® Fireres AX145/20K-HD range of connection cables. These connection cables are fully compatible with the Aero-X® E/C HD type aerosol generators. The cable can be applied within a large temperature range. Besides that, it is resistant to ozone, hydrolysis, media and weather. Its flexible structure enables easy installation. The cable is halogen-free and is flame retardant. The Aero-X® Fireres AX145/20K-HD cable has gone through various fire tests in accordance with the EN 50265-2-1 and shows a content of halogen gas of 0 mg/g according to EN 50267-2-1. Regarding rolling stock applications, the cable complies with protection level 1 – 4 in accordance to DIN 5510 as well as HL1 – HL3 according to the EN45545.
