Three main types of railway wheels can be manufactured by Railteco.

Wagon Wheels

Used for the railway wagon bogies, their running speed is up to 120km/h, with heavy wheel load. Wagon wheels commonly use tread brakes.

Normally there are two manufacturing types, casting and rolling. For the casting, the basin wheel web plate is used. For the rolling, the web plate is usually S-shaped.

TB/T 2817, AAR M-107/208, BS 5892-3 and EN 13262 standards are met in wagon wheel manufacturing.

Passenger Car Wheels

Used for the railway passenger car bogies, the wheels are an approximate running speed of more than 120km/h, with a light wheel load.

They commonly use axle disc brakes or wheel disc brakes.

Passenger car wheels are manufactured by rolling and according to different brake modes, the web plate can be S-shaped, double S-shaped or straight.

Manufacturing standards TB/T 2817/2708, AAR M-107, BS 5892-3 and EN 13262 are met in the manufacturing process.

Locomotive Wheels

There are two types of locomotive wheels: the overall wheel and split wheel.

The locomotive wheels have a larger diameter than common wheels, usually above 1,000mm.

Manufacturing standards TB/T 2817, AAR M-107/208, BS 5892-3, IRS R-34 and EN 13262 are met.
